GPOYW: the “today feels like an argyle sweater kind of day” edition

GPOYW: the “playing around in a pit filled with corn kernels” edition. For some reason, the picture didn’t turn out so great but this is from our visit to a pumpkin farm a couple weeks ago.  Playing around in that corn was way too much fun.

GPOYW: the “my version of the Harry Potter scar” edition.

I have no idea where this cut on my forehead came from but it hurts like a bitch. I presume I scratched myself in my sleep.  Way to go, self.

(Belated) GPOYW: the work friends edition.  This is from the end of the year cook out from 9/2.  Those are my friends Geoff and Dan.  It was super freaking hot (like 100+ degrees out) so we were eating ice cream and hiding out under the ice cream cart umbrella to stay cool.  Pretty good tactic as it felt about 20 degrees cooler under there and I barely got sunburned!

GPOYW: the “it’s been a super awesome week guys” edition.  (Yes, I know this is from DC from like 2 months ago but it’s TEDDY so it’s always relevant).  I got a promotion on Monday to Electronic Enrollment Analyst, which I’m not even going to try to explain, haha.  And I have the best boyfriend ever.  And today is a food day at work so pretty much I get to spend the whole day eating.  Pay day is Friday and it’s a 3 day weekend. HOLLLERRRR.

GPOYW: the “me and the boy” edition.  This is from last Saturday at Goose Island in Wrigleyville.  I can’t even begin to describe how happy he makes me <3

GPOYW: I’m having a pretty good hair day (and of course it’s raining) and this is my attempt at dressing a little better for work.

GPOY (a day late): “Meet the Boy” edition.  Hai Tumblr, meet my boyfriend Greg. And my inability to take a picture without tilting my head when I’ve been drinking.

GPOYW: the “update on my love life” edition.  His name is Greg and we met back in October at the unofficial work barbecue I went to.  He’s actually my work friend Dave’s BFF (all the way back to 1st grade!) and Dave had brought him to the barbecue.  We chatted a bit but that was about it and I didn’t see him after that until a few weeks ago when Dave brought him to a party we were all going to.  A bunch of us ditched out on the party for a bit to go to the bar across the street and Greg and I ended up talking and dancing and then when we went back to the apartment, we talked for a couple more hours and when I was leaving, he asked for my number. We texted for about 10 hours the next day and he asked me out on a date around bedtime.  Our first date was also about 10 hours (best first date I’ve ever had, BTW) and he asked me to be his girlfriend last Sunday.  I found out the other day that he thought I was cute at the barbecue (he also claimed that I ignored him) and I was like, I got a black eye, what’s cute about a black eye?!  But yeah. He’s adorable and a total sweetheart and he just makes me so happy :)

GPOYW - the “Reed Johnson just hit a walk off home run in extras, today’s been a pretty good day, I am kind of smitten with a cute boy and I have a date with him tomorrow night, and oh yeah, check out my new hair color” edition.

GPOYW: the catch up edition.  Hey guys, check out my new hair color/cut, my Cubs tickets finally came, and oh yeah, they’re moving my department at work so now we’ll be sitting behind my boss.
